Bethesda's presentation this year came at an unusually late time - midnight EST. Here's a link to the full thing, if you're interested.

Overall it was a smaller presentation than their previous two, without anything too earth-shattering, especially with regard to The Elder Scrolls.  We weren't expecting ES6, after all, considering how at the last E3 they said that BGS is working on two major projects the size of an ES or Fallout game before then, and not to expect ES6 for years.  There was still some news about some new games of theirs, and DLC for the existing Elder Scrolls games.

We live-tweeted the presentation, and had people chatting about it and reacting to it on our Discord (we recently were accepted as a Discord partner, btw!), but here's a somewhat more in-depth description of each, with links to trailers and articles they released afterward. Take a look after the break:

So here's the gameplay trailer:

So here's a compilation of all the new information revealed today (thank you to UESP member Circuitous for putting together most this list!), and links at the end to all the articles and videos.  Will there be silt striders?  What are battlegrounds like?  Can you only play Warden on new characters?   Find out the answers and more after the break:

The next update to ESO was officially revealed yesterday in a Twitch stream that was heavily hyped by Zeni. While we were aware that the next update was going to include Vvardenfell - which seemed to be confirmed by the "volcanic" promotional images they teased us with - we weren't aware of everything the update would contain.

They started it with a cinematic trailer:

And then they spent roughly the next half hour talking about the game. Here's everything we know about it so far, from the Twitch stream, the two articles on their site, and dev comments on the ESO forum....

I'm back again with another game review post. Well, not a review, since I've not finished it and couldn't tell you if it sucked or not, but it's an overview and my impressions.

I love those old turn-based RPGs, and I have plenty of memories of playing Final Fantasy IV and Golden Sun on the old Gameboy systems. I also love South Park, so a couple of years ago, I was thrilled to find out that The Stick of Truth was being made, though with my owning so many games that I've not gotten around to playing them all. I haven't really gotten around to this one until recently, and I really enjoy this one and want to share my impressions of it. And, I know South Park is a game that's totally inappropriate for younger audiences and the workplace, but this post is safe for work, as are the screenshots that I took of my gameplay to supplement it.

Greetings, blog readers! It's been a while since I've posted a blog, and I decided after a productive month of making 17 blogs for another blog, I figured it was about time to make one for this site!

We're in a bit of a lull between Elder Scrolls games, and there's not really a whole lot of interesting Elder Scrolls anything that I could think of that's worth sharing, so I figured I'd attempt to do a “What I'm Playing” series and do a game review or impression post every… Well, I'm not going to go making promises I won't keep on times, but I figured I'd write a few random game reviews to share whenever I get around to them.

For the second half of 2016 Ubisoft was giving away a game for free for that month to coincide with their twentieth anniversary. I know, I know, it's Ubisoft, and anyone with a brain cell should be boycotting them and their horrible business practices, but I've never been one to turn down a couple of classic games, and two that I particularly like – Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Assassin's Creed III ended up as free games for the giveaway period, so I claimed them.

I love the Splinter Cell franchise, and it's one I've played since this first game came out when I was ten years old, and I've played every game released in the series and I read all of the books created based on the series, so I felt it a good, natural choice to use this first entry to a favorite series of mine as a starting point for this games review project.
